Sometimes we all need a hug. As seen on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vr3x_RRJdd4, this dude has my respect man. Juann Mann (one man), started out as a loner in sydney, without his parents, close relatives nor friends.
This is the story about how one man decided to do something unconventional about the misery he was in. Or at least to my understanding he did la. I mean look, it takes more than courage to do such a thing, something that surpasses logical thinking. He was ready to be judged for such a radical move, either as an insane man or probably someone who's just wasting his life away on the streets.
But what he did, and still is doing, made an impact on people's lives! Look at the comments in youtube, it made people cry. It made people smile. It made people think he was Christ. It angered the police and authorities who wanted to ban him. It made 60000 people petition to keep him there!
It brings out this warmth in your heart really. Basically, this man giving out hugs to strangers, transcends barriers in the simplicity of his actions. White or black, beautiful or ugly, rich or poor, intelligent or not, this hug just comes to show everyone shares a similar longings. Longing for deliverance from despair, longings for unconditional love. It's more than a freebie, more than a fastfood emotion given so freely really.
